The purpose of the TDN is to spontaineously create and share cocktail recipes after a given theme, provide feedback on drink submissions, tweak and adjust in real time, and generally have a good time with like-minded people via the internet from the comfort of our own homes.

Sometimes parts of the crew meet up at a bar (or someone´s homebar) and takes part in the TDN from there - having the drinks shaken up by the bartenders and its then also sent live via webcam.

The best cocktail submision of the night is also awarded with a prize and between4-6 finalist cocktails are presented every week and up for vote in a poll at the mixoloseum blog. Several TDN events are sponsored and the last sponsored event is by Beefeater gin thursday april 30 and features their new gin Beefeater 24.
